Like jazz, it begins 

                               without a map,

finding rhythm, tension, and meaning through movement

I’m drawn to 

          surface and layering,

to the push and pull of space,

to what happens when curiosity leads

 

What remains is a record of that exploration

 

decisions,          gestures, 

            

                                                      and pauses
